During the latest God Eater Official livestream, Bandai Namco has confirmed that God Eater 3 will continue to receive updates after the 1.40 update due out later this summer. Additionally the company stated that they are working on a dedicated forum where users can share their feedback directly with the development team.
The 1.40 update will introduce the new feature Time Attack Mission. In Time Attack Mission you’ll be able to see a health bar of the Aragami. The company said that this is both to help the players figure out the best way to defeat an Aragami as well as to make the missions enjoyable for people watching your gameplay.
Each mission has a time limit, and awards a gold, silver, or bronze medal depending on the results. There is also a “Restart” option that allows you immediately to restart the Time Attack mission.
In addition to the Time Attack Missions, the company also teased a special collaboration costumes for PlayStation 4 and PC versions of God Eater 3 in the form of the following silhouettes:
Finally, an Action Demo will come for the Switch version of God Eater 3 featuring local multiplayer support. A release date was not revealed.
God Eater 3 is available for PlayStation 4 and PC, and is set to release for Nintendo Switch on July 12, 2019.
