Samurai Shodown PS4 shipments and digital sales surpassed 40,606 units in its first week in Japan

Publisher SNK has announced that the PS4 version of Samurai Shodown, (Known as Samurai Spirits in Japan) have surpassed 40,606 units sold in its first week (from June 27 to July 3, 2019) in Japan. The sales numbers includes: 30,179 physical copies and 10,427 digital.

To celebrate the acheivement, SNK is releasing a free Samurai Shodown original dynamic theme for PS4 players, via the PlayStation Store in the middle of July 2019 in Japan.



Samurai Shodown is currently available worldwide, for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Switch and PC versions scheduled for Q4 2019.
