Compile Heart has shared a new set of screenshots for the next entry in the Neptunia franchise VVVtunia, which is being developed for PlayStation 4 and is scheduled to release in Japan in 2020 to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the series and the 25th anniversary of the foundation of Compile Heart. The screenshots are included below.
VVVtunia is a spin-off story and an action RPG that takes place on Planet "EMO", where a group of goddesses team up with the virtual idol group Mewtral, in the hopes of saving the digital world known as “Virtual Land” from being destroyed by monsters called "Anti." Mewtral is made up of six idols, only two of which have been confirmed thus far (Yuu and Mii.)
Here are a few more details:
- “Beat Tik” is a system where Neptune and the others can dance to musical beats.
- “Douga Butler” is a system that allows players to scan a video that can be converted into an item that can be used in the game.
- Players will be able to customize characters costumes and accessories.
- There is a system that lets you enjoy cute videos from the characters.
