Tokyo-based developer Colopl has announced that Shironeko New Project for Switch has been delayed in Japan from its planned 2020 release window to an unannounced release date. Colopl said that the delay is to improve the quality of the game. (via Famitsu magazine)
Shironeko New Project is a brand new action RPG based on the popular mobile game Shironeko Project also known as White Cat Project.
White Cat Project was initially released in Japan in 2014 for Android and iOS. An English-language version was released worldwide in 2015 under the name Colopl Rune Story. A spinoff title, White Cat Tennis was released on both iOS and Android in 2016.
An anime adaptation of the game produced by Project No.9 titled "White Cat Project: Zero Chronicle" is scheduled to premiere in April 2020.
